about Siobhan

I started attending Barre Body classes by Emma Seibold in Melbourne 2012. It was addictive and after seeing fast results in the change of my body, my passion for Barre Body grew strongly and I would attend three to four classes a week.

I love that you don’t have to be a Ballet dancer, a professional Yogi or have any experience in Pilates. The movements feel amazing on the body. Starting the class with a warm up that wakes your mind and body, a strong work out and finishing off the class with Savasana, a final Yoga pose – the part where you sink into your mat to rest your body and mind. (Or you might like to say, the amazing part after all the hard work is over you can have a little nap!)

I soon became part of the Barre Body team, completed the 150 hour teacher training under founder of Barre Body Emma Seibold and taught in their Melbourne studios.

Barre is for all fitness levels and female’s and male’s are welcome. I hope your Barre experience is as satisfying as mine, I look forward to seeing you at Barre Collective.

what is barre?

Barre is a combination of Yoga flows, Pilates moves and Ballet techniques. Combining all of these exercises to create a class that tones and strengthens your whole body.

Using low impact interval training and isometric work your body will burn fat, you will feel stronger and leaner and you will notice the shape and posture of your body changing when doing 3 classes per week.

While the exercises help tone your body, the stretching will lengthen your muscles, improve flexibility and in our last yoga pose Savasana – a time to rest and quieten your mind.
